This cream top was a dollar!! What?!?!
It is such an essential piece, I have a new white sheer button down top, but in this hot weather I needed a short sleeve version, something a little dressier.
During this season it is much more difficult dressing in the morning. Do I dress summery, do I dress for fall, and with it being so hot outside, my wardrobe gets all confused. And I found that in this confusion I kept pulling really plain things from my wardrobe to wear. It was like I wouldn't let myself wear my new clothes because I was holding out for the cooler weather. Well I had a revelation, I need to start putting things together now and make it work with the weather. So...SHORTS were the answer! I needed to take the tops that I had been picturing with long pants and jackets and just pair them with shorts, that way I was able to start transitioning into my fall wardrobe while still staying cool in the heat. And so far so good. My wardrobe feels more inspired and I am not holding out for something "special" to start being creative with my clothes.
