recent purchases

Good Morning Everyone!
A little weekend post for your viewing pleasure. As I was putting together this post I was thinking of a shopping tip I read recently and thought that I would share it with you. When we are in this transitional season between summer and fall, it can get very confusing of how we should dress, dress for fall dress for summer...not sure!! Somewhere in between! But as far as shopping, although it may seem ridiculous to go out and purchase a thick wooly sweater, now is the time to buy your fall clothing. If you wait until the weather changes, the stores will be picked over and will be getting ready for their spring clothing to come in. So, tip of the day, go out and start buying your pieces for fall, once that weather hits, you will be glad that you have them!

This silky white t-shirt is perfect for the summer weather and transitional time until fall fully hits. It's material makes an outfit a little more dressed up and it keeps you cool because of its shorter sleeves. Such a great find!

I instantly thought of Christmas when I saw this shirt. It's shimmer is so festive and the gold/camel color is perfect for this up coming season. I can't wait to wear it with skinny jeans and heels.

Mmm berry! This sweater is an XXL but after rolling the sleeves up I found that it could still work. The berry color is so rich and the material on this sweater is so soft. It will be such a great sweater for fall. I plan on wearing it with leggings and boots...oh so cozy!
Salvation Army-$2.50

I had been eyeing this necklace up every time I searched through the jewelry section in Target. Wondering if it was cool or not, I couldn't figure it out. It's color is what I was drawn to the most. But then it went on sale and so I was able to risk the purchase without it being full price. I took the plunge and I liked adding this interesting piece to my collection.

I love the gold shirt! Definitely reminds me of Christmas. I found one similar a while back at a thrift store here but the sizing wasn't right. Great find!
