DAY ONE-THE COAST

Our first stop on our trip was the beach. Our friends wedding ended and we headed for the coast. We drove all along the water, through quaint beach towns, stopping every once in a while to dip our toes in the ocean. I could sit and watch the waves for hours, its like staring into a fire, they both have a hypnotizing effect. It felt so peaceful!! We continued all the way down to La Jolla beach where Chris and I watched the sun set over the water. It was gorgeous!! Freezing, but pretty!! We ended the night at a mexican restaurant in Encinitas that our friend had recommended. It was a really fun place, where we were serenaded love songs by a mariachi band. I was beginning to love Southern California!!
