the nutcracker

Dress vintage (antique mall), Shoes thrifted, Lips mac-ruby woo

As I had mentioned earlier, Chris surprised me with a trip into the city to see the Sacramento Ballet perform the Nutcracker. Eeee I was like a little girl again, gazing down onto the stage, anticipating each movement that gracefully glided across the floor. My favorite pieces within the performance was of course snow, spanish and the sugar plum fairy. I was truly inspired and so thankful to be in the studio pursuing a dream that I hope to one day be an inspiration to others!
I have had this dress for over 3 years now. I bought it for my wedding shower for our tea party theme. However it was the perfect occasion to wear it again. I was probably the most dressed up at the theater, but I didn't care. It was the perfect setting for a piece this classic. And of course it really worked for our late night chinese food binge following the show!
It was such a great night, we went with one of our favorite couples and it was such a pleasure to share such a great night with them!!

5 days until Christmas!!
